What is Total Liquid Assets
By Richard Tay
Total Liquid Assets refer to: 1. Cash, deposits, stocks, funds, bonds and any other investment derivatives (e.g. warrants, futures, options, etc) and foreign currency (for investment purpose). 2. Gold, properties (excluding self-occupied property but including other residential/business properties for investment purposes). 3. Any other liquid resources (other than cash) that can be evaluated according to their equity value. The primary principle of definition here is to include only assets that can be converted to cash within 3 month. Notice we only talk about what's Total Liquid Assets here, not the value of Total Liquid Assets. Calculation of the value of Total Liquid Assets requires a separate lengthy Intel another day. Have a nice day.
